Today marks 40 years since Ernesto ‘Che’ Guevara was executed in the Bolivian jungle.
Without having any good meters for measuring progress of humankind, and without even having been born 40 years ago, I still feel that there globally speaking hasn’t been much progress in equality, civil rights or justice since then. Sure, the Iron Curtain has fallen, but the rich world is just getting richer and the poor world poorer.
There can be many different opinions on the methods Che used for achieving his goals. Still, I will always respect him and look up to him for being someone who really did something for what he believed in.
